Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

School events include:

school orientation days
sports carnivals
Student Leadership events including AAA week, spirit week and Christmas week
excursions and incursions
performances, concerts or school productions
fundraising for a variety of charities that the students support
recognition assemblies
graduation and presentation night.

Spirit Week and Spring Fling

When: 31 August - 4 September 2026 (Term 3 Week 7)

The annual BHHS Spirit Week is organised by the SRC and includes different themed days and activities. This year's theme is 'Music turn it up!'

Finally, on Friday 4th September evening, we will finish off Spirit Week with the annual disco, Spring Fling, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. There will be all-you-can-eat pizza, music, dancing and a fireworks show to close the night.

R U OK?Day

When: Thursday 10 September

R U OK?Day is an Australian mental health awareness initiative that encourages people to check in with friends, family, colleagues, and others by asking a simple question: "Are you OK?".

Our school will acknowledge this day as an important part of the process in supporting all members of the Baulko community.

Multicultural Food Fair

When: 14 November 2026
Time: 5:00-9:00pm

Let's explore local favourites, global cuisines and discover new food trends at the Food Fair with some of your favourite stalls from last year, along with a few new food varieties. We will also have performances from students and several community dance groups, along with some game stalls to create an enjoyable atmosphere for students, families and the wider school community. Please be sure to join us for this wonderful evening!
