Technology
Technology is important in schools because it makes learning more engaging, helps teachers personalise lessons, and prepares students for a digital world. It gives access to useful tools and resources that support learning and skill development.
Baulkham Hills High School has two dedicated computer rooms and additional banks of computers in the library, but to aid students in the classroom it is required that students bring a suitable device to school each day.
The BYOD requirements checklist is available below. This lists the minimum requirements for a device suitable to use at Baulkham Hills High School. Guides are available within the school for connecting various devices to the school wireless network, but please be aware that compatibility cannot be guaranteed for every device.
Bring Your Own Device for Learning Policy (BYOD)
Please refer to the BYOD, internet and email services student agreement.
