Religion and ethics

NSW schools offer special religious education (SRE) and special education in ethics. Approved providers deliver these (where available). Write to the school if you wish to withdraw your child from SRE (sometimes known as Scripture).

At Baulkham Hills High School, SRE is delivered in a number of ways in 2024:

Mainstream students receive SRE in four seminars during the year.

Term 1 Week 7 Monday March 11 2024 during 11:58am- 1:12pm (Period 5-6)

Term 2 Week 10 Monday July 1 2024 during 10:39am - 11:53am (Period 3-4)

Term 3 Week 7 Tuesday September 3 2024 during 10:21am - 11:41am (Period 5-6)

Term 4 Week 9 Thursday December 12 2024 during 10:21am-11:41am. (Period 3-4)

Support Unit students receive SRE for one period every Friday.

On enrolment parents/carers are given the SRE and SEE participation letter to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE should be given to a Deputy Principal, in writing.
